Where in the World?
Botswana is relatively stable country located just north of South Africa. A fairly flat country, 70% of Botswana is the Kalahari Desert. The primary languages are English and Setwana. Botswana is considered a development success story because of it's lack of government corruption and surplus of economic freedom. Despite these great accomplishments, Botswana is at the forefront of the HIV epidemic. It has the second highest HIV rates in the world, right behind Swaziland. About 1 in 3 adults in Botswana have HIV.
